From the JP-GTA announcement:
"The website will disseminate information on the JP GTA’s global and country activities and outcomes and will provide learning opportunities, knowledge resources and information about the application of GTAs. It will also function as a communication channel to increase awareness about gender transformative approaches to address the underlying causes of gender inequalities as a means to improve food security and nutrition.
"There is vast and growing evidence supporting the links between zero hunger and gender equality, but we can only meet these goals through approaches that touch all spheres of rural people’s lives, digging below the surface and uncovering the structural determinants of the problem. As a primary source of knowledge about GTAs in the food and agriculture sectors, the JP GTA website will help cultivate this mindset.
