Overview

Banyan Global is recruiting an International Gender Team Leader to lead a team of Gender experts to conduct a Gender Assessment and a GBV Costing Study in Guatemala to inform USAID/Guatemala’s 2019-2024 Country Development Cooperation Strategy. The Gender Team Leader will travel to Guatemala, lead the team, and provide technical input and direction for all deliverables.
Responsibilities
Travel to Guatemala and lead a team of domestic and international Gender experts in carrying out all deliverables required.
Prepare an Inception Report that would include a review of existing literature and resources, detailed work plan, data processing and analysis of collected data, roles/tasks/level of effort of team, and a structure of final report.
Conduct in-country key informant interviews and presentation of study findings to USAID and project staff.
Establish, lead and participate in meetings and expert interviews in Guatemala.
Present preliminary findings of all reports.
Draft the final report, make revisions based on USAID and Banyan Global feedback, and submit the Final Report.
Act as the main point of contact between Banyan Global, USAID, and the Team of Experts.
