GREAT (Gender-Responsive Researchers Equipped for Agricultural Transformation) is hosting a training course about legume breeding that integrates gender.
Training course: Gender-Responsive Legume Breeding
- Open to interdisciplinary teams of 2-3 agricultural researchers working on research for development projects in sub-Saharan Africa
- Teams must consist of at least at least one biophysical scientist (e.g., plant breeder) and one social scientist (e.g., sociologist, agricultural economist)
- Training will take place in Kampala, Uganda in two parts: July 2018 and January 2019
- Apply by February 15, 2018
