EMPLOYMENT: Short consultancy opportunity with the A-WEAI in Nigeria

Obafemi Awolowo University, the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, and the Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research - supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - are conducting a baseline study of agriculture in Nigeria. This study aims to provide the evidence by which decision-makers are able to measure subsequent performance in Nigeria's agricultural sector.

As part of this work, the team are looking to hire a consultant to train enumerators on using the Abbreviated-Women's Empowerment in Agriculture Index (A-WEAI) tool. The A-WEAI will form one component of the above baseline study. The full duration of this assignment will be 5 days, and the training session is scheduled for week-commencing 3rd April 2017.
